This ornemental plant is very commun in tropical botanical gardens mainly because of its extraordinary flowers. It flowers throughout the year, but most abundantly in spring.
The leaves of this plant are consumed by the caterpillars of the owl butterfly.
Our collections are regularly renewed. Since the Jardin aux Papillons’ population
is constantly changing, occasionally the species cited on this
site may not be visible. Vice versa, new species are regularly
brought in to populate the Jardin aux Papillons. Thank you for
your comprehension.
