Learning about the life of the butterfly is a wonderful way of getting
children interested in biology. They will see this proof metamorphosis
in its many different colours: from the caterpillar to nymphosis, to
the chrysalis, then a magnificent butterfly!
One can learn about the ecosystem of the tropical forest and its fragile
balance at the Jardin aux Papillons, by studying the tropical climate
(80% humidity at a temperature of 28°C), by discovering the ways
in which the butterflies outsmart their predators and by learning about
the primary role of pollination by the butterfly. There are plenty of
subjects to be taught!
The Jardin aux Papillons provides educational workshops for schools.
The material used for these workshops is studied and written according
to kindergarten and primary school levels 1 to 6.
If you wish, each pupil can be given his own special notebook for an
educational visit.
